One of my favourite projects to work on. The crew needed an editor who could give them on-set creative input and contribute to the grammar of the shot breakdown. I was on shoot for the whole schedule working closely with the director and the cinematographer on possible edit flows and making sure we have the scene well covered for cutaways. This helped immensely when we headed into post. As covid delayed most of the shoot schedule, we had a very limited time to deliver the final cut. I devised a system where I took notes on everything from the clip number in the camera to the lens, the audio track and a small note on how it would fit into the final edit. We finished a first cut within ten days, working round the clock.
